About us
In the summer of 2014 Sayreville Little League's 8u Allstar team had a talented group of 7u players. That fall the group formed the core of the Sayreville Riverdogs Blue 8u team. In the fall of 2019, the Sayreville Riverdogs Blue expanded the roster and the idea for The Riverdogs Baseball Club was born. RBC is and will always be proud to represent Sayreville and Sayreville Little League.
RBC is focused on player development, designed to prepare our players for high school baseball. We teach our players to understand the game of baseball. We coach our players the fundamentals to sharpen their skills. And we demand our players to be better than they were yesterday.
Starting in 2020, our program is developing player profiles for our athletes. Each player is assigned a video locker in Coach's Eye so they can track and share video clips at will. We track key stats as well as use video analysis to bring out the best in our athletes. Our goal is to get the players prepared for competition beyond high school.

Coaching Experience 22 years - Middlesex, Highland Park School Districts, Current Coach at Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, NJ. Numerous players have played college ball at all levels.
Coach- Brian Storrs
College - Clemson University
Coach Storrs has worked with elite athletes across the Tri-State region. His hitters have gone on to play for and against some of the top collegiate programs in the country.
Coach Danny Sheldrick
Coach Sheldrick's background as a standout wrestling coach in Central Jersey does not overshadow his limitless knowledge and passion for baseball. He works with our outfield and catchers
Coach Jonathan Marrero
Coach Marrero brings energy and excitement to every practice. He works with our defensive units on the infield and in the outfield. He is a constant with breaking down the game with each player.
We have also had the pleasure to have former Sayreville Bombers serve on our coaching staff.
